I work for a very conservative company and am hoping to find something new this year - hopefully. Maybe then I'll be able to give it a try again. It's been about 8 years since I've had my full beard and I know it has changed in that time. I've gone from mid 30's to 43 in that time so I know the colors are different. Sorry to hear about your father. That is tough. I've lost a few wonderful people in the last few years - it is not an easy thing and does takes its toll on us. Thanks for responding. It's nice to chat with someone for a change about beards, etc.
WOW! That's awesome! I envy that kind of beard. Right now, I work somewhere that beards are not allowed - only staches. Whenever I can, though, I don't shave. I have noticed a LOT of white at my chin and would love to see how it would grow out. Sigh. Maybe sometime soon.
I can understand that too Jbear! I worked for awhile in retail and they wouldn't allow more than a stache either, unless you were hired with more...odd eh? If you were hired with a beard you could keep one, if you were hired clean shaven, you could only grow a stache?? I had a bit of color in mine until late 02 and early 03 when my beard pretty much went all white after the passing of my dad...it did take me awhile to get used to it, but now I love it! :D
