I work and live in San Jose, California. I work in Marketing for a leading Semiconductor company. The photo provided is a goatee photo from 2005. As of mid January 2007, I have grown my beard for one month. I really like the way it looks and it is filling in nicely. It is basically 100% gray. I found this site while researching experiences from others with growing beards. I also wanted to get a sense as to how long it might take to reach my beard growing goals. I would like to make friends with other beard sporting guys in the San Jose area regardless orientation. Also open to a relationship with the right person. Probably my biggest challenge is growing a beard and my image at work. But I've taken the "this is my face" approach and taking the stance that if people don't like beards, that is their issue. Growing a beard is every man's birth right!
