From Dvorak to Depeche Mode, Borodin to the Beatles, new age to New Wave, classic Disco to the latest DJ mixes of House and techno, I love music with melody. Hip Hop and Rap don't even qualify as music in my book, just noise.

My favorites are movies created to tell a story of social significance and as a catalyst for needed changes. Gandhi, Schindler's List, Amistad, Cry Freedom, Stand and Deliver, American Freedom X and Gorillas in the Mist are some milestone films. I also like good sci-fi, like the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and thoughtful documentaries, like Mindwalk and those put out by the Science channel, National Geographic, History Channel, BBC and PBS. I watch very little TV except those documentary channels and old classic sci-fi like the Outer Limits and The Twilight Zone.

Men, photography, travel, Men with mustaches, gardening, landscape design, Men with beards, Book collecting, music, Men with Fu Manchus, sex and military history, Western Americana, Men with fuzzy faces, boating, sailing and canoeing, camping, hiking, road trips and world travel. Did I mention Men with facial hair?

I am now a senior citizen, as of the 15th of May. I can still do virtually everything I could when I was 25. I weigh within 5 pounds of my weight at 25 and I'm keeping it that way. I have a huge variety of hobbies, interests, travels and passions most of which I'll go into below. The broadest generality may sound like an oxymoron, but I'm a homebody who likes the outdoors and traveling. I'm self-employed doing mainly tilesetting with other home renovation projects like finish carpentry thrown in for good measure (pun intended).
