Music- in current rotation (may be slightly out of date): Patti Griffin, Hem, Of Montreal, Badly Drawn Boy, Hedwig, Iron & Wine, Pink Martini, Paris Combo, The Shins, Wilco, Jose Gonzales etc etc
KCRW, KEXP, WXPN
Big NPR junkie: This American Life, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, Harry Shearer's Le Show, Studio 360

Love most, except gore. Mainly (good) sci-fi, indie (such that it is these days) documentaries, and animation.

Recently read: Wicked, Joseph Campbell: Reflections on the Art of Living, The Great Gatsby (I never read it in high school!), Heat (Bill Bruford)

See above. Cooking, eating, drinking (in moderation!), physical activity- gym or outdoors, reading, playing piano/guitar, drawing, dreaming.

For those who just want the dry facts: I'm 42, 5'4", currently weigh in at 170-ish(give or take, depending on what I ate today), green eyes, single.

I wish I could grow a better beard. When will they come out with rogaine for beards? You guys with the super thick, wooly beards make me green with envy.

If you are Zach Galifianakis, and you've decided you play for "my team," I'm here for you. (the best "celebrity beard", bar none!)

Not really looking to get involved much more than having a good evening out for dinner/movie/a beer/etc; and getting to know interesting, fun-loving, positive-attitude friends. Open for more, if you are convincing and persuasive.

I like (some) tattoos and cigars, but don't have one or smoke them (yet). Mainly, I just think they are hot. ;o)

Probably more than anything, I love to travel. Even if it means just going for a 4 hour aimless drive to an area I haven't yet discovered.

BIG foodie here. There is nothing better than sharing dinner with friends, exploring new cuisine, or just sitting around a table with a great home cooked meal. One of the times I am most happy.

Can't wait to have a dog again someday, when life allows.

I love walking the North End in Boston on a warm summer's night.

Playing in or near the water makes me happy.

The left side of my brain is fascinated by geology and astronomy.
The right side loves most things design-related: graphic design, architecture, toys, cool furniture, silkscreened t-shirts.

You've got to be one of the most photogenic men I've seen...no need for you to envy anybody!

Add me to the list of those who think you have a great beard!

I'll agree with cimarron below that you have a great beard and look excellent. A super thick beard is not always the answer. My beard is not very thick either. You probably have more beard then you realize ;-)
