Gardening so much I have to wonder whether it is somehow genetic-the family homestead is shown as a nursery in a local 1878 atlas and an 18th Century cousin wrote about preparing the right soil mix in a way that I grasped as soon as I read it. I try to work with plants and sites to make wild looking garden events that include plants I want to see without demanding a lot of fussy housekeeping.
