I love dancing and burn up a bit of free time downloading dance mixes, mostly as motivation for the workouts, but also for revving up for Saturday night on the town. Also enjoy quiet evenings at home, candlelit dinners, playing with my cat, movie night, checking out a museum, or the theater, going on hikes, camping. I workout with weights 4-5 times a week for the physical & mental benefits.

I understand we are men and relationships involve the three C's -- commitment, compromise and communication as well as the 5 A's -- acceptance, appreciation, affection, attention and allowing. (Can you tell I read a lot of love books? LOL!) In all seriousness, I believe it's possible for two men to form a committed bond. As I approach 40, having spent most of my adult life single, I understand achieving that is a matter of timing, chemistry and sacrifice.

My beard & I celebrated our 1-year anniversary in February. Woo-hoo! Pretty proud of the stage I got to. Had an emotional upheaval recently and needed a change. I bid adieu to the full beard in favor of a big bushy biker stache. Proved to myself I could do the full beard and cherished the experience. But it was time for a reinvention, a metamorphosis.
