Motorcycle touring, playing music, gardening, home improvements.

Retired early from federal gov't. (worked in Baltimore 'till 2000) to care for elderly parents. Was occupied with that duty for several years. Sadly, that responsibility is now passed, but I've begun getting out and seeing people again.

Favorite activity is motorcycle touring. Have the bike back on the road and have begun taking weekend jaunts. Maybe a few longer trips later in the season, a rally or two next year. Life member of American Motorcyclist Assn. and Harley Owners' Group.

Aside from motorcycling, like classical and "light" jazz music. Have done choral singing (baroque chorale and liturgical) in the past, and dabble in piano, organ and guitar playing. Also interested in home improvement and gardening. Spend some of what free time remains on e-mail or chatting online.

This site was recommended by some long-bearded friends. Always admired guys with great beards. Mine is a bit thin and gets wispy if I try to grow it long, but I do the best I can. Beyond that, will have to settle for admiring others!
