Comedies are my favourites. Also like watching horror, war, non fiction, historical, legends.

BOOKS
Mostly travel related, travelogues, some history, Tibet, Mongolia, Non fiction, Polar travels, National geographic magazines.
Presently reading 'A Walk in the Woods' by Bill Bryson.

HOBBIES
Collecting stamps, banknotes and coins from all over the world. i have a decent collection and exchange with collectors all over the world.
Reading, walking, listening to music, yoga and travelling.





ABOUT ME
Hi, I am a sailor by profession, love the sea and the outdoors. When I am on land I trek, camp, do yoga, watch films, listen to music, read, surf the net.
I have maintained my beard for 10 years now, and try to keep it as clean and neat as possible. Any comments would be welcome.

I am glad you are around gary. I have some (very few) very special friends who have written whilst i was trekking and expressed their concern, shock and sadness and I join you all in this tense moments.

Thanks on the pics Sunny! They should be very cool to see!  ...and of course I was worried! you're a friend of mine and I was most certainly concerned about your heatlh and safety!  What a horrible thing to happen anywhere, but thank God you were out and about, as I thought you may be, but.....


Sunny, I believe that for the most part, people are good.  There always will be bad folks in the world, but good will triumph! :D  I'm so happy to hear you're well and at home!  Take care my friend!
