Luigi Boccherini, Johann Pachelbel, Pablo Sarasate, Sepultura, Satyricon, Talking heads, Cannibal corpse, Scissor sisters, Nine inch nails etc. Again, music I like to listen to, but which I'm hardly able to play... Except for some Boccherini or Pachelbel on the fiddle. Sarasate is out of the question for a while yet.

Star Wars, Master and commander, Downfall, Equilibrium, War of the worlds etc. Those are movies I like, not movies I've had roles in or directed. ;)

Mostly specialist literature, but also the Master and commander books. On the topic of books I've written, I would have to refer to my future dissertation.

My main interest is historical linguistics, but I also enjoy playing the violin. And Quake.

I'm a 21 year old student of Scandinavian languages and comparative Indo-European linguistics at the university of Uppsala, Sweden. I grew my first beard in 2003, aged 18. The growth has since developed significantly, and I still see ongoing development. I have sported a few different styles (some of them only for very short periods of time, though), including sideburns, full beard, chin curtain, handlebar moustache, short moustache and toothbrush moustache (!). I'm currently trying to copy Ewan McGregor's Episode III/Long way round style. In the winter of 2006, I plan on starting out on the long trek to terminality.
