I can't think who would care what I listen to. I have a large collection of 1920 - early 1930s recordings. Mostly vocal. I have an enormous collection of British folk music (aka Celtic) from the late 1960s - the late 1980s. Other genres include: 60s phychedelic, 70s funk, cool jazz, 70s pop, 80s new wave, punk rock, Brit pop, Canadian folk, power pop, 70s soul, rockabilly, comedy, spoken word, 70s guitar rock, and even disco (for the camp value). So you see, I'm open to a lot. If it makes me laugh, I'm happy.

Documentaries are of interest. I lean towards independant cinema. Often British films. I prefer stories with good character development. Not a fan of rape scenes and exploding heads. If it needs a car chase, the writer is probably lazy. I don't enjoy having my intelligence insulted. That eliminates most domestic fare.

I've read a bunch of classic fantasy. From time to time, I enjoy lefty political non-fiction or biography. I used to read Victorian novels. Anything by David Sedaris, Lynda Barry, or P.G. Wodehouse.

I collect 19th century photographs of men with unusual facial hair. I'm attempting to write a book. I used to love to garden, but live in an apartment now. I hope to own another Saint Bernard before I die. I'm the sort who haunts antique shops. I'm a frequent lucid dreamer and have occasional OBEs. I love being far back in a wilderness area, away from people. I dislike most modern architecture.

I'm a bit of a recluse. I prefer the company of large dogs to most people. I don't smoke, drink, sleep around, or play with drugs. I am quiet and avoid crowds when I can. I'm quite allergic to religion. Political lefty.
I cherish my friends.
I drink too much tea.
I wish I lived in a log cabin.
I would like to have a few more friends who make me laugh. I've neglected my social life since my 11 year relationship ended. I am more comfortable with men over 40.
Hoping to leave the USA in the next couple years. Somewhere cooler and less bellicose. Getting into Canada was tougher than I thought. Maybe Alaska will have me. Seattle is certainly becoming too crowded and expensive.
