My tastes are so eclectic. I love everything from 80's alt (DM, Cure, New Order, etc.) to Natasha Marsh, Ivy, Van Morrison, Adriana Calconhotto, Kings of Convenience, Iron & Wine, Big Band, Celtic, Native Flute...

I am a huge movie buff - there are far too many great movies to list as my favorites. I am a sucker for good westerns - Most recently I have enjoyed 310 to Yuma, The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, There Will Be Blood, Open Range...

Again, I have very eclectic tastes - I enjoy reading non-fiction quite a bit - books on science (Geology, astronomy, zoology, physics...) I enjoy Zombie fiction. Right now I am reading Leaves of Grass by Whitman - I just finished an annotated version of Walden. I love reading Rilke, Rumi, Gibran...

Hello everyone. My name is Matthew. Many of you know me under my moniker of, "Moon" on the BCBB.
I am the humble man behind the curtain of the Midwest Beard and Moustache Club
http://www.midwestbeard.com
All are welcome!
And yes, I am straight - I have had several messages sent my way asking if I am sure that I am straight - I most definitely am. The great thing about the bearded community is that I have made so many friends from so many diverse backgrounds.
So if you do not mind a straight guy as a friend, please feel free to message me - we are all human beings and each one of us are beautiful and unique.
I also prefer the quiet places...the wild places ...away from most people. My dream is to live in a cabin in the north woods - I would love to visit Alaska (and will get my chance next May)
