No. 1 is MUSIC. My a main line of work is the restoration of all kinds of Automated Music Devices such as Player pianos/organs, Orchestrions, and wind-up Phonographs. I also collect piano rolls and 78s. I also play keyboards, Celtic flute, Vielle, Bagpipes and other obscure folk instruments I can get my hands on or build.
No.2 is Woodworking. I love doing period woodwork and cabinetry. I am presently building a fairy tale hunting lodge (see my gallery). I am also undertaking a project to design and build Arts & Crafts style piano cases.

Then there is History, ART, Folklore,Erotica, Spirituality, Goats, Herbs, Alternative Healing, Weight lifting, Satyrs, Canoing, and lastly, Pissing off the religious right. (the order of importance changes from day to day)

I am 6' 235lbs, Eclectic craftsman/musician, Mountain Man, Satyr, living off-grid on a forested mountain in Mid-TN. Muscular, FULL Bearded, Rugged individualist. I consider myself masculine, don't identify with gay culture, bars and the like, but I don't concern myself with whether or not my mode of behavior and style fits anyone else's definition of what is masculine or NOT. If a piece or music or a beautiful work of art can awe me to tears, then so be it. I have a wide range of interests and I am always open to learn or be turned on by something new. I'm somewhat anachronistic with a mindset more suitable for the last turn of the century instead of this one. My artistic taste and skill leans to the Victorian/Gothic which resonates in the cabin I am building up in the woods here. I am hoping to find a partner, make friends. I am passionate and gentle. I believe that making love and art are one and that the spirit needs to be touched as well as the body.
