I don't believe in astrology, but I will use it in a Judo Argument. I once had someone pestering me to let him "analyze [my] natal chart" and I finally got him off my back by pointing out that he wasn't going to convince a Sun Aquarius with his Moon in Taurus and Scorpio Ascendant of ANYTHING he didn't want to be convinced of in the first place. *grin*

Another example of the Judo Argument - more relevant to this site - is when I had someone I can only describe as a Christian Nutjob accosted me in line at the supermarket and started ranting about how my long hair made me look "effeminate" and thus I was an abomination to the Lord, etc. I pointed out that BOTH men and women can grow long hair - but only men can grow beards, so if one of us was guilty of making himself look more female, it was HIM for shaving off the beard God put on his face! I went on to point out that the vast majority of the depictions of Jesus I'd ever seen showed him as bearded and long-haired!

First time I've ever seen someone actually turn purple...!
