I grew my first beard starting in June of 2005. Up to that point my beard was just to patchy. After starting a work out routine at the gym I finally could do it... yes I am a late bloomer!
I love my beard!
I own a massage studio in NEPA. The description of my massage should tell you about me. Relaxed!
I specialize in a Swedish relaxation massage incorporated with some hot stones. My table is heated and my massage lasts about an hour and half. The goal is to have you melt into the table. You start off face down and we do some deep breathing, this gets you relaxed, then I start on the shoulders and upper back working my way down to the middle of the back. (Very slow) then I move to the lower back and top of the gluts again very slow, I use arms and elbows on the broad part of your body. This is now where the hot stones come in; I massage your back from the top of your butt to your neck and ultimately leave the stones in place as they cool. I work on your arms as they hang off of the front of the table, I work into the arm pits, biceps, for-arms, hands and fingers. In the end I move your arms to the table and fill your hands with hot stones.
From that point I move on to your gluts, and legs. I tend to work high into your groin; if you are uncomfortable with this you need to tell me in advance and I will adjust my style. (Communication is important!) When I am done with the legs I elevate your leg and work on your feet, I do the whole foot including each toe. Then I repeat the same on the other leg.
At that point you should be starting to turn into Jell-O-Person! I have you turn over and I start working on your chest. I do each side separately and stretch your arm back and do long strokes down your arm into you side. At this point it is important that your arms are relaxed (let me do the work) when both sides of your chest is done then I work on your whole chest and then move to your stomach. For women I only do the top part of the chest and I keep the breasts covered at all times. I massage your stomach on each side and then I do a counter clock wise movement. (Some massage therapist do not do the stomach, I think it is an important part of the massage. I then move on to your thighs, knees and calves.
I end the massage with your face, using a nice face cream; I do your ears too! Then I have a steaming cloth that I press into your face? Ahhh it is so nice!
I think you would find me to be relaxing to be around. Your massage should be a great getaway! My style is very slow and most likely a bit different from other massages.
I think one of the things that make me successful in this is that I feel that it is almost as relaxing to give as it is to receive a massage. I visualize myself on the table.
