I love science fiction movies, including Bladerunner, Alien, Contact & the Firefly TV Series. Also big fan of animation: Spirited Away - and Flushed Away, the Incredibles, Ice Age, and of course Shrek & Wallace & Grommit. I also like Office Space, Ed Wood, Little Shop of Horrors, Election, American Beauty.

I especially like non-fiction books. Subjects like nature, gardening, astronomy, plants (esp. trees), birds, geology, art, design, architecture, material culture & history, etc. "Devil in the White City" is an excellent book too. And, oh yes for fiction: LOTR.

I like gardening (now with more land than we know what to do with) and watching all of the birds critters that come to the garden (even if they do make a mess of things sometimes). I love music, and making my own CD compilations.
